WHO WE ARE

Bernard Bus Service, Inc has been a family-owned business since 1947. Now on its fourth generation, it has expanded into Wisconsin and absorbed multiple school districts in Minnesota and opened an excavation company, and autobody/mechanic shop. Today, Bernard Bus Service provides service through school districts, colleges, casino trips, NASCAR runs, and much more all over the country.​

Bernard has absorbed multiple school districts in Minnesota. Bernard Bus has held the Chatfield Public Schools contract since the 1980s. In 2015, Chatfield received the bid for the Rushford – Peterson School District contract and has been servicing since. Bernard Bus also received the bid for Mabel – Canton School District in 2016 and has continued service there as well. Bernard Bus services all sporting, music and theater, FFA, school bus routes and other extracurricular activities.

Bernard Coach provides motor coach services from Chatfield, Minnesota to everywhere within the state of Minnesota and extends trips through the entire country. Most often we serve the Twin Cities area, the Chippewa Valley, including Eau Claire Wisconsin, Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, Menomonie,  but also Rice Lake, La Crosse, Milwaukee, and Green Bay.  We go where you want to go!

 

In 2010 Bernard Bus Service purchased Chippewa Trails, Inc in Chippewa Falls, WI. The Wisconsin office later moved into Eau Claire, WI before merging back with the Minnesota office.

Bernard Excavating is our newest company. Multiple projects including sand distribution, ground leveling, pond completion, and other renovation projects are included in our portfolio,

Bernard Motors provides all types of towing, body work and mechanic work to cars, trucks, small engines (gas or diesel), motor homes, service vehicles, buses and more!
